Solar Panel Plus and Solectria Renewables, LLC enters a partnership for photovoltaic products focusing on commercial, residential and utility industries. Solar Panel plus (SPP) is an innovative designer of solar water heater, photovoltaic solar panels, solar air conditioning as well as solar heating systems.
Solectria Renewables, LLC
Solectria Renewables has been in operation for more than 20 years. It is a leader in Lawrence, Massachusetts in developing as well as producing inverters used for renewable power applications. This includes grid tied PV inverters, with capacity from 1 kW to several Megawatts.
SSP is based in Chesapeake, Virginia, and is an importer, distributor and manufacturer of solar products for residential, commercial and industries. This includes solar pool heating, solar air conditioning, solar water heating systems as well as installation facilities.
This collaboration gives both SSP and Solectria better possibility to grow in North America. Solectria’s grid-tied inverters will enable SPP’s solar panels to be easily integrated into the meter system. The technology will also be made available at a much lower cost.
According to John Williams, COO of Solar Panels Plus, there are already residential and commercial clients that are saving much cost with the solutions offered.
The net-metering system works with a special feeding system that reverts the meters where energy produced exceeds what is used. This injection of energy into the utility company power grid enables one to both save energy and to decrease monthly utility bills.
According to James Warden, CEO, Solectria Renewables, the partnership can provide significant expansion capacity for both companies. Moreover, Solar Panels Plus produces one of the best photovoltaic panels on the market. Solectria can now deliver a cheaper solution to both residential and commercial clients.
The solutions that are offered by SPP’s are geared towards reducing cost as well as eliminating toxic emission of CO2. There are several solar thermal and solar photovoltaic products that are available and under development by SPP.
